Welcome! Thanks for stopping by Time To Be Catholic!
We wanted to take a minute to ponder with you
WHY ARE YOU HERE - on this site - and in the world :) !?
We don't think anything happens by accident.
Perhaps you feel a pull in your gut - maybe an intuition -
drawing you toward things of faith -- which falls under
"Now what."
OR maybe you clicked here intentionally, already on
your journey toward connecting God and Family...
Whatever the reason, God loves you.
God is waiting and hoping for an active relationship with you.
Many families we meet would love to find time to
find out about God and faith, but are simply...over-scheduled, and exhausted.
They can't see how they'll find the time to learn/pray/get their family to Church...
So first...a deep hug. Then a humble suggestion:
Start with a Prayer. Just one.
Trust/Challenge God to work in your life - ask him. Something like: "I'd like to get to know you, God, but our lives are crazy busy--help me to bring us closer to you. - Amen.
"The Lord works in mysterious ways!" is cliche for a reason!
Then just wait.
Listen to him speak - notice what your thoughts or gut feelings are pulling you to do.
Maybe hang out on this site or other Catholic sites and think about this stuff. It's really that easy. You'll find yourself thinking and reading/hearing/praying more often about God. You might try going to Mass (church bulletins, with where/what time Mass is, are online nowadays). Maybe someone you know goes though a tough time
and you find yourself talking about God or praying about that....
God and faith should be lived - not stressed or scheduled.
Like any good love story,
you'll find yourself unexpectedly thinking of him and wishing to see him again. He's already in love with you. He's waiting for you. Find him and start up a conversation.
You might be surprised - but you won't be disappointed. Promise.
Where? He'll talk and listen to you 24/7 - just start praying...
And He's also physically in front of you in the Eucharist
at Mass, at Adoration, or anytime you want to kneel near a Tabernacle.
